TEACHING & EMBODIMENT

Professional training and experiential learning

Teaching & Embodiment

Teaching and embodiment spaces are for those wishing to learn through both practical training and lived, embodied experience. These offerings support the development of skilled, confident practitioners — while also honouring the deeper awareness that comes from learning through presence, practice, and integration.

My teaching brings together structured, professional massage training alongside energy-based learning, allowing students to develop both technical competence and embodied understanding.

What I teach

Teaching and embodiment offerings currently include:

  • Professional massage training aligned with Beauty Guild standards

  • Energy-based learning and attunement, offered through experiential practice

  • Foundational skills in touch, presence, and client care

  • Ethical practice, boundaries, and professional responsibility

Training spaces are held with clarity, integrity, and respect for each student’s pace and learning style.

How learning is held

Learning environments are:

  • Small and supportive

  • Clearly structured while allowing space for questions and integration

  • Grounded in professional standards and ethical practice

  • Attentive to embodiment, consent, and nervous system awareness

While the massage training follows recognised frameworks, energy work is taught through direct experience, reflection, and guided practice.

Who this is for

You may be drawn to these teachings if you are:

  • Wishing to train professionally in massage

  • Already working in a healing or body-based field and seeking to expand your skills

  • Interested in learning energy work in a grounded, responsible way

  • Looking for training that balances structure with intuition and embodiment

No previous experience is required for some trainings, while others may build on existing knowledge.

Practical details

Teaching and embodiment offerings are shared throughout the year and vary in format and duration. Some trainings lead to recognised qualifications, while others focus on personal development and skill expansion.

Current courses and upcoming trainings can be found on the What’s On page.

If you feel called to train or learn in this way, you’re welcome to explore upcoming courses or reach out with any questions. I’m always happy to help you sense which learning space may be the right fit.

Training & Professional Courses

Alongside experiential learning, I also offer a range of professionally accredited therapy courses. These are ideal for those wishing to train, qualify, or expand their skills within a recognised framework.

Professional Accreditation & Insurance

All professional therapy training offered through The Knotted Tree is delivered by a fully accredited, insured Guild Training School, aligned with The Beauty Guild.

Courses that include a practical element are taught in person at The Knotted Tree in Telford, with theory modules completed online through the Guild’s learning platform.

On successful completion of both theory and practical requirements, students receive a recognised qualification, allowing them to:

  • obtain professional insurance

  • work with the public

  • practise in clinics, salons, or mobile settings

Guild membership & insurance

Upon completion of accredited courses, students are eligible to apply for Beauty Guild membership, which provides access to:

  • professional insurance

  • ongoing support and resources

  • recognised professional standards within the industry

All training is delivered in line with Guild requirements, ensuring students feel confident, competent, and supported in bringing their skills into practice.

Learning environment

As a small training school, courses are taught in small groups to allow for individual attention, clear guidance, and a supportive learning environment. Practical training focuses on skill, confidence, safety, and professional responsibility.

Entry requirements

Some courses require the Professional Standards for Therapists module to be completed prior to attending practical training. This only needs to be completed once and will be discussed with you during the booking process.

Accreditation and insurance eligibility are subject to the individual course requirements and successful completion of all assessments.

Full details and guidance are provided once you get in touch.

If you’re unsure which course or pathway is right for you, you’re welcome to reach out for guidance before booking.

Accreditation and insurance eligibility are subject to the individual course requirements and successful completion of all assessments.
